Justin’s January update

Hi Everyone,

It’s been a few months since I sent an email because 

1) the subscriber sign up form was overrun with spam 

2) I was mostly taking a break during holidays 

3) I lost the template I created for email and haven’t figure out how to make nice looking email from an iPad (my new writing device)

The most important thing I wrote recently is about Amazon’s (and other companies) practices for silently forcing people out without severance–“silent sacking”. This includes me and many people I know.

The second big news is I’m taking over the Changelog Ship It podcast! I have a great cohost and a lot of ideas for what I want to cover. If you run production software or are responsible for any part of the software lifecycle after `git commit` I’d love to hear from you.
